3. If you need accommodation before May 2nd or after May 4th:

Those who want to spend more than 2 nights in Helsinki (only May 2nd - 4th are included in the 100€ fee) have to contact the hostel themselves. 

When you contact the Eurohostel, let them know you have signed up for Up With People European Alumni Meeting and would like to make a reservation for extra night(s) at our group rates.

Our group rates for Backpackers' rooms are:
37.70€ for a single room / person / night
21.60€ for a double room / person / night
14.20€ for an extra bed / night
(the prices include the room, linnen, towel and sauna in the morning)

6.70€ for optional breakfast

You may have to change rooms between your extra nights and the EAM nights. To avoid that, let them know you'd like to share a room for the entire time and it should be possible for you. In that case, let us know the same roommate request, because the hostel asked us to give the names for the EAM rooms.

We were warned that because of the Carnival in Finland that weekend, the hostel and other hotels in Helsinki are certain to be full, so don't leave your booking till the last minute!!!

For those who prefer more luxurious accommodation, there is a unique hotel around the corner of Eurohostel, Best Western Premier Hotel Katajanokka. The facility used to be a prison.
